Passport To Dine is an annual event for Birmingham AIDS Outreach. This year's Passport To Dine is February 1 through March 25 and includes several different parties and dinners produced by volunteer hosts throughout the Birmingham metro area. Most Passport to Dine parties are open to the public with ticket sales set at either $25, $50, $75, or $100 per person. Each host donates their time, food & beverage so that 100% of ticket sales are donated to BAO. Hosts will decide on the theme and price of their party, as well as the number of guests. Hosts may include partners, friends, family, colleagues, etc. Guests and hosts are encouraged to attend multiple parties during Passport To Dine and encouraged to attend the Bon Voyage Party on Sunday, March 25, 2012. The Bon Voyage Party is free to all hosts and guests and will feature entertainment, hors d'eovures, complimentary champagne, cash bar, silent & live auction, and two vacation giveaways! Each guest will receive one entry in the vacation giveaway for every $25 paid during Passport To Dine. For example, if a guest pays a total of $100 during Passport To Dine, the guest will receive four entries into the grand prize drawing. Each host will receive one entry into the vacation giveaway, for every $100 their party generates. For example, if a host raises $1,000, they will receive ten entries into the vacation giveaway. Parties with multiple hosts will each receive an entry in the vacation giveaway for every $100 generated by their party. At the Bon Voyage Party on Sunday, March 25, additional entries for the vacation giveaway may be purchased for $25 each. You must be present to win! Guests who have neither hosted a party nor attended a party prior to the Bon Voyage on Sunday 25 March may pay $25 at the door. |
